McKenzie Valve received certification based on their strict adherence to the AAR M-1003 Quality system, to manufacture Pressure Retaining Components integral to the tank car, per Class D, as required in AAR M-1002.

 


11/30/2007 - Tri-Cap Introduced

McKenzie Valve obtained approval for the no-step, non-cycling version of the time tested and proved design of the 3/4 psi Vacuum Relief Valve (VRV) and is now offering it to the public.  Look in Literature or Product sections for more detailed information.


1/12/2005 - Joint Agreement to Produce Pressure Relief Valves

Union Tank Car, McKenzie Valve and Kelso Technologies have entered into a five-year Joint Marketing and Development Agreement to manufacture and market Kelso's patented JS SRV line of pressure relief valves. 8/29/2003 - FULL-PORT low-profile outlet valve now being produced

Union Tank Car Company and McKenzie Valve and Machining LLC are pleased to announce that we are now producing and marketing the FULL-PORT low-profile bottom outlet valve.

All the features of the tried and true UTC valve are present with the addition of a full-port (full 4 inch) bore for an improvement in unloading.  Full-port outlet nozzles are also being manufactured to accompany this valve.

Valves are available in carbon or stainless steel with pure Teflon or Filled Teflon seats, with or without steam jackets.
